Backing up the entire machine is the most complete way to protect your data. It is recommended that you choose this option when you are not sure which data that you need to protect. When you select Entire PC as a backup type, Acronis True Image backs up all your internal hard drives in disk mode. The backup contains the operating system, installed programs, system settings, and all your personal data including your photos, music, and documents.
Requirements:
- Windows Machine
- Acronis USB Bootable Media
- External Hard Drive
Procedure:
1. Boot
to the USB bootable media
2. Wait
for the below screen to show up
3. Select
Backup
4. Select
Disk and Partition Backup
5. Select
the source disk and Check all the partitions on that disk.
6. Select
Create a New Backup and Browse for the External Hard Drive where you will be saving the image file.
7. On
the lower left part click on the Backup Method
8. After
clicking the Backup method, choose Full and click proceed.
